Review: I was given the opportunity to review Reading Kingdom for an honest opinion. The skills include sequencing, motor skills, phonics, meaning, grammar and reading comprehension. This online reading is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, special education, homeschool, and English as a second language. The first part of the program introduces the child to just random letters. Then it slowly gets into simple words, but still selecting only two letters at a time from the word. The first part of the program is very repetitive, which is good for beginners. The animation and graphics are colorful and fun for children to follow. With Reading Kingdom skips over words that children can already read and write. It offers tutoring techniques that helps children to overcome any mistakes he or she may encounter with the reading software. It includes a Progress Check at the end of each of the five levels of reading and writing. It also reports by email the child's progress on a regular basis.
