Elfishki and The Giant Cake

Description:

Once upon a time, on the beautiful Rainbow Island in the middle of the Sparkling Sea lived magical little people called Elfishki.
Magical little people called Elfishki live on an enchanting Rainbow Island nestled in the middle of the Sparkling Sea. I loved the interactive art and animated video. The voice over is very pleasant and easy to follow. There are questions on every page that children can use their imagination to answer and predict.

Some of them could fly like butterflies and some could swim like mermaids. They shared the island with animals who could speak and trees who did not talk, but understood everything. All in all, this was a place where miracles happened every day.

Elfizz was an owner of a gloomy restaurant named Chest of Ghosts where the staff was eager to please ghosts. On the opposite side of the square was a bakery, Gingerbread Nook, run by a pretty plump Elfishki lady called Maggie. The two were at odds with each other until one day they had to work side by side...

My review:

Magical little people called Elfishki live on an enchanting Rainbow Island nestled in the middle of the Sparkling Sea. I loved the interactive art and animated video. The voice over is very pleasant and easy to follow. There are questions on every page that ask children to use their imagination and answer and predict situations.

Elfishki and The Giant Cake is packed with charming magical characters. My six year old enjoyed this story and is now one of her favorite games.  The two main charcaters are Elfizz who owns a restaurant called Chest of Ghosts and Maggie who owns a Gingerbread Nook.

Gorgoyle, once a statue, helps Maggie bake the dough until one day she receives a very important order to bake a Giant Cake. Gargoyle, overwhelmed accidently brakes the oven and Maggie has no choice to ask the only other person who owns a large oven, Elfizz. The ending comes full circle and they work together and become friends. This is a wonderful lesson for kids. Everyone can get along with others even if they don't agree or  like the same things. My daughter loves the feature where she can decorate her own cake.

I highly recommend Interactive iPad book for kids - Elfishki and The Giant Cake
