Each aceo is unique......First I lay out the watercolor  (over the sink method)  wet on wet.....I let the color mingle any way they like....then when dried I look at the colors and determine what type of tree positing fits.....When I looked at the colors I saw a profile of a lions face in the background.....what do you see?

Today I finally painted some trees. Trying to give them different positioning and emotions. I leave it up to the viewer to interpret each tree.

I lay down wet washes of watercolor

when dry the paper curls a bit ......placing heavy books on top of them always does the trick of flattening them :-)
